Alan Parker

Alan trained and qualified as a music teacher in 1971.  He taught for many years in secondary education specialising in instrumental teaching and latterly in computer generated musical composition.  He became interested in the Internet and its possibilities whilst still teaching.  What started as a interest developed into a career in 1999 when he set up Webwork Mull.

He developed the local community website, www.tobermory.co.uk and also was commissioned to develop the tourism association's website www.holidaymull.org

Latterly, he designed and developed www.night-porter.com as an international accommodation availability and booking system.
